Bradford Children and Families Trust are expanding the Care Leavers Service and are recruiting for an Enrichment and Partnership Coordinator to support the service in developing the care leavers local offer and increase opportunities for care leavers to.
About the Role
The Care Leavers Local offer has been created to offer a range of support and social activities for care leavers living in Bradford. Bradford Trust Care Leavers service is committed to improving and developing the way our service supports Care Leavers. At the heart of developing our Care Leavers Local offer is consultation and co-production. The enrichment and participation coordinator will work closely with the Bradford Voice team to work with care leavers directly to involve them in shaping our service and understanding how we can improve the support we offer, working towards co-production of an improved Local Offer.
The Enrichment and Participation Coordinator will also plan and deliver a range of social activities, events and social groups for care leavers in collaboration with the Care Leavers service and partner stakeholders, increasing opportunities for care leavers to build positive support networks and social relationships.
The Enrichment and Participation Coordinator will be responsible for networking with local services, partners and businesses to develop opportunities for care leavers in the community, including enrichment offers and working to build more inclusive services for care leavers.
The post holder will also be responsible for creating marketing, and communication of the Local offer and in conjunction with the management team contribute to reports highlighting the impact of the Local offer, enrichment and participation activities.

To do this role you will need to be committed and passionate about helping young people achieve their potential, be resourceful and tenacious in getting the support that they need to thrive and want to achieve the best outcomes for their future.
You will need to be confident, proactive and able to work in partnership with all multi-agencies to ensure young people get the support they need and to develop a range of diverse enrichment and participation opportunities for care leavers in Bradford.
The ideal Enrichment and participation coordinator will need to be skilled in engaging young people and employ a range of participation methods to do so. You will need to be skilled in facilitating participation sessions, helping young people to have their voice heard in both direct one to one support and planned group work sessions.
You must hold
* GCSE (or equivalent) Mathematics grade C and English grade C.
* Experience of working directly with children, young people and families and hold an NVQ Level 4 in childcare/ Youth work or related field or considerable work-based experience in a similar field.
* Ability to build trusting and supporting relationships with young people.
* Experience in office administration.
* Highly organised with keen attention to detail in record-keeping and able to produce reports as requested by the service.
* Experience in creating good quality content such as leaflets, pamphlets and online content.
* Ability to coordinate multi-agency projects and organising meetings, workshops, and events.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to establish positive relationships with all stakeholders.
* Understanding of adolescent development.
* Understanding of leaving care legislation and leaving care rights and entitlements.
* A driving licence and access to a car with business Insurance unless a disability prevents this.
