What You Will Do: • Manage current model programmes and support escalations from plant teams relating to quality or delivery performance issues. • Utilise a structured diagnosis and practical problem-solving approach to drive the implementation of countermeasures for escalated issues. • Lead the management of high-risk suppliers through the company's escalation process. • Support and drive resolution of plant Stop Ship and Field Actions as a result of manufacturing defects. • Manage the timely introduction of running changes within suppliers and validate changes to ensure delivery of engineering standards. • Communicate Supplier Performance status to cross-functional stakeholders across the business. What You Will Bring: • Experience in Body-in-White (BIW) commodities such as Cold Stamping, Aluminium & Steel, and Forging. • A valid driving licence with the ability to travel within the UK. • Previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering role at engineer or management level. • Proven background in problem-solving and the ability to manage complex projects. • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage across all levels of the organisation and with external suppliers.
