Main duties of the job An opportunity has arisen to join a busy, friendly team within the Linen & Post Services Department. The successful applicant will be responsible for helping to provide a full internal delivery of Linen and Post within the Trust and externally via trust vehicle. The role will be Monday to Friday, Working hours will be 07:00 - 12:00 or 07:30 - 12:30 due to rotating shifts, however it will be expected that you will work some weekends on a rota. This may vary due to the needs of the service. Our working hours are from 07:00 to 16:00 Weekdays and 07:30 to 11:00 Weekends. Detailed Job Description And Main Responsibilities You will be responsible for the topping up and delivery of linen and scrubs items to ward linen cupboards, and non-ward areas around the Trust. You will enter data of daily linen requirements from ward areas onto a stock control system using an Android tablet device You will deliver and collect posts from areas around the trust for outgoing via the franking machine, ensuring that all mail is dispatched in a timely manner as directed, a same-day service being the majority service requirement. This is a part-time role of 25 hours per week over 5 days, Monday to Friday.
