Program Assistant, Partner Solutions (Hybrid in Durham, NC; Chicago, IL; or Washington, DC) The Program Assistant supports project teams with administrative tasks to ensure a portfolio of fiscally sponsored projects have the operational support necessary to meet their programmatic goals. This role is ideal for early career professionals interested in developing nonprofit management expertise, gaining operational experience, and learning process design. A Program Assistant supports a portfolio of account teams by implementing and monitoring key operational and administrative tasks in support of fiscally sponsored projects. This position generally reports to an Associate Director, Partner Solutions. Essential Responsibilities Support operational functions for a portfolio of fiscally sponsored projects, including: Data management, including data entry and maintenance of records, documents, and files in various systems Produce reports from data systems, identifying trends or opportunities for correction Coordinate logistics for internal and external meetings Assist with drafting and preparing subgrant agreements, contracts, etc. Assist with desk research and due diligence Submit payment requests, ensuring accurate coding and documentation Additional tasks to align with project need as assigned Routinely apprise and align with internal stakeholders on the status of tasks; sharing processes and other relevant project data to senior team members, as needed Other Responsibilities Support internal, centralized systems with administrative support as assigned Contribute to the achievement of team initiatives and internal projects as assigned Other administrative tasks and special projects as assigned To Be Successful in This Role, You’ll Need 1-2 years of work experience, internship experience, or a recent college graduate High attention to detail and process oriented Ability to prioritize effectively and manage towards multiple deadlines simultaneously Excellent time management skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Effective collaboration skills and team player Ability and understanding of how to use Microsoft Office Suite Ability to work inclusively and collaboratively with diverse teams and audiences Ability to use available resources and feedback to continually pivot, adapt, and grow Preferred Experience with administrative support and CRM database management Familiarity with the model of fiscal sponsorship Appreciation for efficient processes and a desire to improve them Interest in philanthropy, nonprofits, foundation operations and management Our Core Competencies The ability to provide excellent, reliable service, including the ability to effectively recognize and elevate potential challenges, gather the information necessary to create and carry out solutions, and support those solutions with clear communications and thorough follow up. We offer a competitive and holistic total rewards package that includes salary, bonus, and benefits. Our compensation ranges are based on national compensation benchmarks for similar organizations. The base salary for this position is $45,660 and with an annual bonus potential of 3% for this position. We consider national benchmark indicators along with job related skills, experience and relevant education and training, to determine compensation that is fair and competitive.
