Project Manager (Water Sector) Contract: 6 Months (Outside IR35 / CIS) Rate: £350 - £450 per day Location: Ramsgate, Kent Potential for Permanent Role Future Projects in the Pipeline Are you an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in the water sector? We have an exciting contract opportunity to oversee a critical project for a Pumping Station upgrade near Ramsgate. About the Role You’ll take charge of delivering a pump upgrade project, managing the design, supply, installation, and commissioning of new equipment. Responsibilities include: Conducting flow measurement tests and CFD studies. Overseeing ecological surveys and assessments. Managing the design and installation of three new fish-safe pumps with wall-mounted VSD drives. Coordinating structural, mechanical, electrical, and civils work scopes, including minor repairs and temporary works. Form of Contract: NEC4 ECC Option A. Key Requirements We’re looking for a strong NEC Project Manager with a history of working on water industry projects, ideally with Environment Agency experience. The ideal candidate will have: Qualifications: NEC PM PMQ (or similar), SMSTS, First Aid, Temporary Works Coordinator. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Project.
