The production manager will be accountable for leading the Operations Team to achieve the profit and performance targets set by the business. Drive continuous improvement to maximise operational effectiveness, quality and consistency and efficiencies through the development of people, processes and systems. Enhancing the group mission, vision and Values. This role requires senior leadership qualities to ensure that all manufacturing aspects are met through the individual unit and cross functional support within the peer group.
Hours of Work
Monday to Friday 08:00 to 16:00
What you need
* Senior Leadership experience within a manufacturing environment
* Food processing knowledge and experience
* Food Hygiene qualification
* Experience of budget control and financially aware
* Demonstrate the ability to work cross functionally.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (Written and Verbal)
* Ability to manage staff to deliver results
* Self-motivated and highly result orientated
* Ability to act alone on own initiative and work under pressure
* 3rd level educational qualification is desirable
* Experience gained within a range of sites chilled/frozen food manufacturing businesses is desirable
* Proven track record of achievement in continuous improvement is desirable
* NEBOSH/IOSH qualification is desirable
