Location - Bedford Position - SEN Tutor Type of work - Contract Start date - ASAP Duration / Likely Duration - Dependent on each student. Contract type - Temporary. Full time/part time - Part time and full time depending on availability. Rate of pay: £25 per hour Hours - Working hours can differentiate, 6 - 30 Hours per week available. Prospero Teaching is looking for an SEN Tutor in or around Bedford to provide tuition for Children currently out of education. As an SEN Tutor, you must be able to deliver 1:1 tailored lesson to bridge gaps in pupil's education and boost engagement and attainment levels. This opportunity is great for an experienced teacher who is looking to step away from the classroom to offer more personalised, enjoyable lessons. Prospero Teaching will work with you closely to monitor the progression with each pupil and support effective learning.
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYFS or equivalent 6 months+ experience working in a UK school Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential) Experience working with SEN or similar. TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
