The Role
As Head of Business Intelligence, you will play a key leadership role, driving excellence in BI and performance reporting to help shape the future of our client’s data landscape. This is a hands-on role with opportunities to make a real impact across all levels of the organisation.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading a team of skilled BI developers to deliver best-in-class insights and data products.
* Championing high-quality outputs, including dashboards and reports for stakeholders up to Board level.
* Collaborating with the wider data team to align BI efforts with the wider data strategy.
* Overseeing the development and optimisation of the BI platform (Power BI).
* Driving automation and innovation to unlock new opportunities and improve team efficiency.
Your Experience
We’re looking for an experienced leader with a strong background in Business Intelligence, data visualisation, and team management. You’ll be technically adept and passionate about leveraging data to drive insights and decisions.
Key skills and experience include:
* Proven experience leading and mentoring BI or analytics teams, fostering a culture of growth.
* Advanced knowledge of Power BI (or similar tools such as Tableau, Qlik, Looker).
* Strong SQL skills for querying and data extraction.
* Expertise in designing intuitive dashboards and visualisations with actionable insights.
* Strong stakeholder management and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
