They currently operate at scale, executing millions of trades a day, running complex simulations based on state-of-art, custom, and nimble software designed by the inquisitive technology teams, and anticipating new market trends. The Role: They’re currently on the search to hire a ‘Trading Application Support Specialist’ to join a pragmatic and inquisitive team of top industry professionals, supporting the full trade life cycle of the cross-asset electronic trading platforms, within a fast-paced environment. Additional responsibilities include: Application Support: Provide first-line and second-line support for trading applications, ensuring systems are optimized and running smoothly. Incident Management: Rapidly troubleshoot and resolve issues to minimize downtime and ensure trading continuity. Collaboration: Work closely with development, trading, and infrastructure teams to support complex trading strategies. Performance Monitoring: Track application performance and proactively identify areas for improvement. System Upgrades: Assist in rolling out new application features and system updates with minimal disruption to trading activities. Documentation: Maintain up-to-date documentation of processes, troubleshooting steps, and issue resolutions. Technical Skills in Linux is a must. Good understanding of scripting languages is a plus (Ideally Python, Bash).
