Job Title: Supply Teacher Location: North West England, Greater Manchester, Altrincham Job Type: Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £130 - £140 Per day Job Duties: As a Supply Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching to students across various subjects and age groups. You will follow the school's curriculum, plan lessons, assess student progress, and provide constructive feedback to support their learning and development. Additionally, you may be required to cover for absent teachers, maintain classroom discipline, and participate in parent-teacher meetings. Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt to different learning environments Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field Experience: Prior experience in teaching or working with children is preferred Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of the national curriculum Effective classroom management skills Ability to differentiate instruction based on student needs Good IT skills for lesson planning and delivery Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) or equivalent Working Conditions: You will work in a school setting, following the academic calendar.
