We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant Key Stage 1 (KS1) classroom in Burnley. This role, employed through an agency, offers the opportunity to support both the whole class and provide focused 1:1 support during the school day. Key Responsibilities: General Classroom Support : Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons. Prepare resources, manage classroom behavior, and support group activities to ensure an inclusive, positive learning environment. 1:1 Support : Provide dedicated support for a child requiring additional assistance for a portion of the day. Tailor your approach to meet the child’s unique needs and promote their social and educational development. Encouragement and Motivation : Build supportive relationships with children, encouraging their confidence and enthusiasm for learning. Monitoring and Feedback : Track student progress and communicate observations to the class teacher to support their individual learning plans. About You: Experience in a classroom setting, ideally within KS1, is preferred but not essential. Passionate about working with young children and helping them succeed.
