Job summary King's College Hospital has been at the forefront of fertility treatment for more than 40 years. The assisted conception unit has been in existence since 1983 and provides a full range of investigations and treatment for infertility in dedicated premises. As of the 1st of November 2017, the fertility services were transferred to King's Fertility, a partnership between the Fetal Medicine Foundation (FMF) and King's College Hospital. Currently there are 6 RCOG accredited subspecialist consultants working within King's Fertility, as well as a further 7 consultants with specialised teams responsible for Andrology, Reproductive Surgery and Fertility Preservation. Last year the unit performed approximately 2100 cycles of IVF/ICSI. The unit is based within the Fetal Medicine Research Institute, Denmark Hill. Applications are invited for a Clinical Fellow at King's Fertility and King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. We are seeking a highly motivated Clinical Fellow to join our busy and well-established IVF and Reproductive Medicine service. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain comprehensive, hands-on experience in assisted conception, andrology and fertility preservation within a leading fertility centre. Main duties of the job Together with the others to provide Maternity & gynaecology services for women attending King's College Hospital. This includes all aspects of treatment and relevant management duties required for the proper functioning of the department. o Shared responsibility with colleagues for providing 24hour, 7 day a week cover for the obstetrics & gynaecology on an on-call rota basis.
