We are looking for a dynamic and experienced health or social care professional to join our team.
As the Practice and Quality Development Facilitator, you will have responsibility for leading and supporting a wide range of projects and activities ensuring that staff are supported to deliver the highest standard of care across our Inpatient, Hospice at Home, and patient and family support services.
The ideal applicant will be an enthusiastic and motivated individual with a proven track record of leading clinical initiatives, confident in delivering education and training, and experience in successfully implementing change in a healthcare setting. You should have excellent organisational skills and communication abilities and be able to act as a positive role model.
You should be able to recognise and balance the need for support and challenge, facilitate critical reflection, and support the development of the hospice team. You will be committed to the ongoing support of our learning and development, quality improvement vision day to day in line with strategic aims.

Who are we looking for?
To succeed in this role, you will already have a good understanding of creative health and significant experience of developing and delivering creative programmes that prioritise access, inclusion, and quality. We are looking for someone with at least three years of relevant work experience and a minimum of two years within a role with line management, budget, and fundraising responsibilities.
You will have extensive experience of working with diverse audiences including vulnerable individuals and communities. You will also have experience of working with a range of visual artists to develop creative opportunities that are person-centred and support creative journeys. You will be able to demonstrate your commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion and an understanding of the value of lived experience through previous roles.
You will have experience of working in a reflective way, documenting and evaluating programmes and projects, using the findings to shape future developments and for reporting to external funders. You will also have some experience of supporting, developing, and managing a small team that includes paid staff and volunteers. Experience of fundraising will be helpful. A knowledge of the visual art sector in Scotland and key organisations within the creative health space will be advantageous.

Experience working in adult social care services along with the necessary qualifications to register with the SSSC are essential. We offer competitive rates of pay - £16.50 to £18 per hour for assessment and £19 - £22 per hour for IV.

Aberlour Options Fife - Lochwood Park service, based in Kingseat, is a forever home for one young man who has complex needs. Our service is a safe space for not only our young man but for his family to spend meaningful time. Although there can be behaviours that challenge, it is the small steps of progress that this young person makes daily that makes our work meaningful. We are looking for someone to join our small team, who is a patient and understanding person. These are key skills for this role.
What we are looking for:
As someone who has built up experience working in residential childcare, you will have the confidence to guide and direct the provision of care for our young person.
When on shift, you will play a lead role, mentoring and supporting staff and being a role model, delivering excellence in the services we provide. You will assist in assessing, planning, and delivering services, taking responsibility for ensuring that assessment and interventions are prepared, monitored, and evaluated.
Engaging positively with our Young Person and their family you will plan and implement appropriate support. Sensitive and accurate reporting is a key responsibility and so you will have good written communication skills and the ability to learn how to use effectively, Aberlour’s recording system: Dynamics.
This role offers the opportunity to consolidate and build on your experience combined with the ability to enhance your skills and knowledge through training, for example, in Dyadic Developmental Practice.
As part of the management team you will play an active role in ensuring that shift duties are delegated and completed in accordance with service guidance. You will work 2 x 7.5 hour shifts per week as part of a Residential Rota.
Overnight sleep ins are part of the role, alongside an awake member of night staff.
