One of Northern Ireland’s leading house building contractors is seeking an experienced Health and Safety Manager to join their NHBC award winning team based in Co. L’Derry. With an operational history of over 50 years, the contractor has grown & developed their business from a small, family-run firm to a consistent leader in the residential sector, earning a reputation for repeatedly delivering successful, high-end & highly sought-after residential developments in attractive locations.
Your new role
As Health & Safety Manager, you will balance your working week between head office in Co. L’Derry or various sites throughout NI from Belfast right through to the North-West. you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing all health and safety policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and promoting a culture of safety within the organisation. Current projects include smaller developments, affordable housing and apartments right through to large-scale social and private housing.
What you'll need to succeed
As a successful Health & Safety Manager, you will have extensive experience and a previous track record working in a similar role within a construction environment. You’ll demonstrate a working knowledge of SHEQ standards & audit procedures, risk assessments and SHEQ legislation with a sound understanding of implementing integrated ISOs (14001, 45001 & 9001) throughout a live project. You will be professionally qualified to NEBOSH standard or equivalent.
