Minimum wage start plus £300 per quarter if all 4 targets are met and potentially another £100 if the golden target is met (absence, and 3 internal targets e.g wastage/quality).
Monday to Friday.
Your role:
We are looking for an Assembly Operative to join our tambour door production team.
Responsibilities include:
▪ Working on the assembly line and producing our products based on specific measurements, calculations, drawings or instructions under the supervision of a Level 2 Assembly Operative;
▪ Packing boxes, loading and unloading materials and finished goods and adhering to safety protocols;
▪ Inspecting assembled products for any faults or defects;
▪ Reporting incidents, faulty operations, or product imperfections on the assembly line to Management;
▪ Following established safety and efficiency procedures to ensure that operations run smoothly.
Your Profile:
▪ Previous experience in this type of role doing assembly work;
▪ Able to work individually and as part of a team;
▪ You will be attentive to detail:
▪ Takes pride in your work;
▪ The ability to understand and receive instructions;
▪ Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment;
▪ The ability to lift heavy pieces of equipment (within safety guidelines);
▪ Ability to work on one’s own initiative;
▪ Good knowledge of manufacturing safety protocols and regulations;
▪ A forklift licence would be an advantage, but not essential;
▪ A solid understanding of production machinery and proper assembly procedures would be an advantage, but not essential;
▪ An ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics would be an advantage, but not essential.
