Senior Site Manager needed in Kent for Education New build projects valued between £6m - £30m. You will report to the Project Manager. Tier 1 experience in education is ideal, preferably with DfE, and must demonstrate a collaborative, team player approach.

About the Role:
You will be working within our Construction London & Home Counties region, where you will:
1. Manage the site and ensure adherence to all policies, procedures, and standards using specified drawings and instructions, within budget and on programmes in support of our perfect delivery philosophy.
2. Supervise all direct labour and coordinate the activities of trades and subcontractors to ensure efficient operations in accordance with the construction programme and quality and cost standards.
3. Ensure health and safety requirements are adhered to at all times in accordance with laid down company procedures and legislation.
4. Provide a reliable, first point of contact service.
5. Implement and monitor all systems and procedures to ensure effective operation.
6. Implement and adhere to appropriate environmental controls.
7. Establish and maintain site set up and welfare facilities.
8. Provide feedback on objectives and training and development needs, as requested.
9. Understand customer's objectives and ensure good communication to the team.
10. Encourage customer feedback, communicate effectively with line managers, and take appropriate action where necessary.
11. Ensure that relevant issues raised at close down meetings are actioned accordingly for future contracts.
12. Communicate on sub-contractor performance to all relevant parties.
13. Invite and encourage use of supplier's technical knowledge, skills, and expertise.
14. Offer assistance in project review of other sites.
What Are We Looking For?
As an experienced Senior Site Manager, you will have:
1. Significant experience in the main contracting market with experience of working on Residential/Care/Educational schemes between £10 and £40 million.
2. Experience of running multiple projects.
3. Experience of managing client-facing interactions.
Qualifications:
A good understanding of construction techniques and a HNC/HND (or equivalent) in construction, CIOB, First Aid, CSCS. Preferably CITB 5-day and Temporary Works training.
