Are you a passionate and visionary Head of Music looking for an opportunity to lead an exceptional department? We are seeking a Head of Music to take charge of our thriving Music department in the West Midlands, starting in September. In this role, you will inspire and lead a team of Music educators while delivering high-quality, engaging music education across all key stages.
Key Responsibilities for the Head of Music include:
* Lead and develop a high-performing Music department.
* Design and implement an inclusive, innovative Music curriculum.
* Monitor student progress and achievement in Music, setting high standards of attainment.
* Foster strong links with local musical institutions, community groups, and external partners.
* Lead CPD for Music staff, encouraging continuous professional growth.
* Oversee and manage Music resources, including instruments and technology.
We Require a Head of Music who:
* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Has proven leadership experience in Music education.
* Holds a degree in Music or a related subject.
* Possesses strong organisational, communication, and leadership skills.
* Is passionate about Music and ensuring all students succeed in their musical education.
