WorkwithYorkshire are working with a local law client, who have a fantastic opportunity for a Conveyancing Assistant (post completion), to join their team based in Barnsley .
This is a full time, permanent role based in the office.
You will play a crucial role in the final stages of the conveyancing processes ensuring all post-completion tasks are meticulously handled.
A competitve pay rate is available.
Duties:
Working closely with the legal team to make applications to Land Registry and attending to lender requirements, bringing about a smooth closure of legal transactions
Ensuring all post-completion tasks, including filing and registering documentation with relevant authorities, are completed accurately and promptly.
Organising, filing, and maintaining legal documents, both physical and electronic
Liaising with clients to provide updates on the status of their transactions and address any post-completion queries.
Preparing and managing post-completion correspondence, including letters, emails, and reports.
Maintaining accurate records of all post-completion activities and ensuring they're updated in the case management system.
Ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, during the post-completion phase.
Key skills and experience;
Previous experience as a Legal Assistant, preferably in Conveyancing
An understanding of post-completion processes and legal documentation requirements.
Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
