Carter Rolan Group are recruiting for a challenging, high profile global/group role, combining the need for a practical, hands-on commercial sales professional, prepared to explore growth opportunities, a real door opener who can also motivate his team and get the best out of them.
The right candidate is someone who will be looking at where the growth will come from and must have a strong bias towards business development and new business – not afraid to open up new markets. With the intellect and credibility to develop long term business sales and meet growth objectives and to operate at the highest level within a dynamic international manufacturing business.
This role sits x2 days on site in Birmingham.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Group CEO and leading a dedicated sales team, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of strategy, KPIs, and delivery of commercial sales at both individual site and Group level. This will include providing forecasts and meeting sales targets whilst overseeing the continued development of the company's growth and increasing revenue systems.
What you will need to succeed in this Group Sales & Marketing Director role
* Highly astute commercially led Sales Director, responsible for overall sales strategy
* Must have manufacturing/consumer goods/FMCG or similar background experience
* CV must demonstrate longevity and stability in background/employment
* A 'go getter', high achiever, must be hungry for sales
* Getting the best out of the sales teams
* Someone who can get into the detail
* Packaging experience is highly desirable
