This is an excellent opportunity for a proven payroll professional, who is looking for a chance to work for a large organisation, where you will also have access to our benefits which include FREE London Underground and Overground travel for you and a designated person This is not an opportunity to be missed Responsibilities: You will be responsible for coordinating end-to-end processing of Classic Payroll, ensuring accuracy, reconciliation, and audit tracking, while assisting with our other Payroll. The Payroll Coordinator will support in collating and transferring payroll data from Rosters team to the supplier weekly for processing. Assisting in maintaining ARL Pension schemes and providing professional advice on remuneration and compensation will also be another key part of this role. You will work closely with Rosters and management teams to meet payroll deadlines. This individual will handle payroll queries and emails, aiding in the checking and reconciliation process. Working closely with HR, supporting them with accurate data input and authorization in HR system (Workday) will be another key responsibility of this role. You will be responsible for updating payroll documentation and assist in system maintenance and development. The Payroll Coordinator will assist with audit requirements, ad-hoc projects, and Business Objects reports. You will need to resolve errors between HR and payroll systems, maintaining GDPR compliance. Support Payroll Supervisor with benefit administration like salary sacrifice and holiday purchase is another key part of this role. Qualifications: This individual will ideally have a Payroll qualification but this isn't essential with a minimum of 5 years' experience, for this role. Desirable experience includes working with Salary Sacrifice Pension Schemes and complex payroll terms. Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and ability to work independently to meet deadlines. Experience with iTrent (Payroll) and Business Objects is essential, while Excel proficiency is a must. Ability to handle complex queries confidently and manage multiple tasks during payroll peaks. Demonstrated commitment to staying updated on payroll legislation and attention to detail. You will need to have strong communication skills, with the ability to confidently deal with complex queries for staff at all levels and high attention to detail, with the ability to work flexibly during peak Payroll periods.
