Job title: Service Coordinator / Helpdesk Coordinator

Contract length: 6 months initial contract
Rate: £12/hour PAYE
Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services, is currently recruiting for a Service Coordinator on behalf of a global leader in the market of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS).
In this role, you will be managing phone calls, faults, appointment booking for engineers, e-mails, and queries as they come in. At times, it can be very busy, so being able to work as part of a team as well as independently, along with the ability to organise yourself and prioritise, is key for this role.
Areas of responsibility and tasks:
1. Ensuring that all faults are reported and dispatched appropriately to support high levels of operational productivity, paying close attention to relevant contract information.
2. Developing an acute understanding of our customer's requirements in order to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
3. E-mail handling, managing emails that come into the mailbox, and acting according to the relevant contract while responding in a professional manner.
4. Managing engineers' faults and workload by booking appointments using the booking system.
5. Taking calls from customers and engineers.
6. Assisting local field management with contract queries and admin tasks.
Key competencies and capabilities for this role:
1. PC skills are essential, and ideally, experience of using Outlook, Word, and Excel is desirable.
2. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.
3. Good attention to detail along with the ability to remain composed when working under pressure is essential.
4. Customer-facing experience is desirable.
5. Ability to work independently and on your own initiative, taking ownership of tasks and incidents until completion.
6. Ability to build relationships with colleagues and customers.
7. Excellent organisational skills.
8. A self-motivator who can demonstrate good initiative.
9. Problem-solving skills.
Required experience:
1. Previous administration and coordination experience is desirable.
