This position is advertised at 37 hours per week. Job description Continuous Amphibious Readiness is one of the Royal Navys key outputs; as part of 47 Commando Raiding Group Royal Marines, 11 Squadron contributes to this in its development of amphibious equipment and in training amphibious troops in the skills required to project and sustain forces from the sea. The Estate Administration officer will support the unit working under Headquarter Manager (HQM) They will have the responsibility of monitoring total facilities management within the unit including, Infrastructure, Cleaning, utilities and they will provide admin support for SHEF documentation. Administrator for HQ. 11 Squadron is moving towards paperless processes, with most of the maintenance recorded electronically on a tailored MOD equipment management information system, therefore an enhanced level of IT skill is required for this post; training will be provided for the MOD system. In order to deliver its outputs, 11 Squadron relies on an adaptable team with a good understanding of the customers requirements; the successful candidate will be expected to fit in and collaborate as part of this team. Depending upon experience and qualifications, the successful applicant may be required to travel and stay overnight in order to complete training vital to fulfil the role.
