Main duties of the job We have a unique, caring and inclusive team who are delighted to be responsible for the care of Children and Young People from 5 days to 18 years old, across East Berkshire and South Bucks. Our department has a 5 bedded High Dependency Unit and 19 inpatient beds alongside a 6 bedded Day Surgery Unit and Paediatric Assessment Unit, all of which have undergone refurbishment. We have close links with our Neonatal Unit, Children’s Outpatient Department, Paediatric A&E and our Children’s Community Nursing Teams as well as our regional Children’s Hospital in Oxford. We promote strong interdepartmental and cross-site working relationships with both Heatherwood and Frimley Park Hospitals.
