Due to the retirement of the current incumbent, our client is seeking a new Head of Private Client Partner to lead and mentor its private client team, ensuring continued success and growth within the division. The Head of Private Client Partner will be a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the firm's private client services across multiple offices. This position is not a fee-earning solicitor role but will focus on mentoring, developing, and supporting the team to deliver exceptional client service while achieving business objectives. The successful candidate will work closely with senior management to shape the strategic direction of the private client division, ensuring consistency and excellence across the firm's offices. In addition to strong leadership and technical expertise, the ideal candidate will be well-connected with key private wealth regulatory bodies and organisations, ensuring the firm's private client team remains at the forefront of legal and regulatory developments in the sector. Membership of STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners) and the Association of Lifetime Lawyers is highly desirable. Education: Qualified solicitor, chartered legal executive, or a relevant professional qualification. Ongoing professional development through relevant courses and training is desirable. Skills: Strong leadership, management, and mentoring skills, with a focus on guiding and developing talent. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues at all levels. Strategic mindset with the ability to develop and implement plans that support both client needs and business growth. Strong understanding of legal risk management, compliance, and regulatory requirements in the private client sector. Desirable: Membership of STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners) and the Association of Lifetime Lawyers is highly desirable.
