Dunbar Education is seeking a Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant for a full-time position in a Dudley school. This role involves supporting children with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) across EYFS to KS2.
The Role:
Support pupils with special educational needs on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
Work across EYFS, KS1, and KS2, adapting support to suit different ages and abilities
Assist teachers in delivering tailored learning plans based on EHCPs
Help create a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
Support children with communication, social, emotional, and sensory needs
About You:
Experience working with children with SEN (preferably in a school setting)
Understanding of EHCPs and how to implement support strategies
Patient, caring, and adaptable with excellent communication skills
Ability to build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching & Learning or equivalent) - desirable but not essential
