Your new company You will work for a well-established and renowned publishing company, based in the heart of London City. Your new role This is a newly created part-time Accounts Payable/Accounts Assistant role which has arisen due to the AP and AR functions being brought in-house. You will work within an existing finance team of five people and undertake various responsibilities including: Processing and coding supplier invoices Checking and verification of invoice details such as price, quantity and payment terms Preparation and execution of bi-weekly payment runs Supplier statement reconciliation Preparation of month-end reports Bank statement reconciliation Supplier account reconciliation Providing support for audit (internal and external) Ongoing process improvement - suggesting ideas to streamline and improve the way things are done Supporting with Accounts Receivable This is a part-time role, 3 days per week (22.5 hours). Preference would be for the hours to be spread over 5 days. However, 3 full days or 4 days will also be considered. Flexibility will be required over month-end dates. What you'll need to succeed The successful candidate will have recent, relevant experience working in an Accounts Payable-centric finance role. Additional experience working in Accounts Receivable is advantageous. SUN system experience is advantageous but by no means essential. Immediate availability or a short notice period is advantageous.
