Every loaf, batch, and product starts with our incredible team, and we’re looking for a Despatch Operative to join us and play a crucial role in delivering our products to customers across the nation.What You’ll Do As a Despatch Operative, you’ll be a key part of our operations, ensuring the safe and efficient handling and distribution of daily orders. Your role will help us deliver fresh, high-quality bread and baked goods to homes and businesses every day. Key responsibilities include: • Safety First: Proactively report hazards and collaborate with colleagues to maintain a Zero Harm workplace. • Order Fulfillment: Pick, load, unload, and manage products with accuracy and efficiency. • Adaptability: Take on various tasks across the despatch operation and embrace learning new skills. • Performance Excellence: Achieve targets using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and other performance tools. • Standards Compliance: Maintain a “clean as you go” approach, contributing to internal and external audits. • Team Collaboration: Build strong relationships with teams across the site to ensure seamless operations.
