Department Commercial – Playhouse Bar Reporting to Bar Manager Hours Variable hours allocated on a rota basis Monday – Sunday. Hours include days, evenings, weekends and bank holidays). This role is a zero hours role. Main Purpose of the Role To work well as a team member with a positive and friendly manner To assist in maintaining a high standard of customer service To maximise sales in the Playhouse Bar Key Responsibilities Legal and Health & Safety To uphold the requirements of licensing laws, COSHH and H&S procedures as conveyed by senior colleagues Customer Service To work as part of a team serving and assisting customers To serve drinks and refreshments and help set up for functions, moving furniture as required. To provide assistance and excellent customer service to all theatre customers. To represent the theatre and promote its activities in a positive manner at all times. To positively contribute to the unique atmosphere and character of the bar Financial To process accurate payments and transactions. Bar Housekeeping To assist in restocking bars. To set up and close down all bars. To maintain a clean and tidy bar, ensuring all items needed for the shift are available.
