For the first time, Marshalls is bringing commercial operations together under one roof. That means breaking silos, streamlining processes, and driving profitability like never before. As our Commercial Excellence Manager, you’ll take ownership of continuous improvement—challenging the status quo, embedding smarter ways of working, and making Marshalls a smoother, faster, and more efficient business.
From refining pricing and order systems to optimising cross-functional collaboration, you’ll make a real impact—helping our teams sell more effectively and making it easier for customers to buy from us.
This isn’t a ‘maintain the status quo’ role. It’s a ‘roll-up-your-sleeves, drive change, and make things happen’ role.
What are the mission-critical skills?
* Passion for Progress: Proven experience in identifying and fixing inefficiencies, streamlining processes, and enhancing existing operations.
* Data-Driven Decision Making: Strong background in data analysis and problem-solving, with the ability to assess challenges, identify root causes, and implement solutions that drive performance and efficiency
* Collaborative Mindset: Ability to work across teams, aligning commercial priorities with operational excellence
* Change Leadership: Willingness to drive change and inspire others throughout the transformation journey
* Industry Knowledge: Experience in construction products or landscaping is a plus, but a solid understanding of commercial operations in a manufacturing context is essential
