Job Title: Nursing Service Delivery Lead Location: Cornwall Start: ASAP Duration: Ongoing Rate: Up to £33 per hour with weekend enhancements Working hours: 2-3 days per week, shift patterns may vary Pulse’s AHP Team is currently recruiting for experienced Nursing Service Delivery Leads to join the team for a role based in the Cornwall area. These roles will be working locally in the Cornwall area providing Nursing delivery services for a Phlebotomy & Healthcare Research Project. To be successful in this role you MUST have experience of a similar role and be proficient as a phlebotomist. Our Future Health is the UK’s largest ever health research programme – it’s been specifically designed to help people live healthier lives for longer. Volunteers provide physical measurements, blood samples and lifestyle data to help with the discovery and testing of more effective approaches to disease prevention, early detection and treatment. Pulse is proud to be supporting Our Future Health on this pivotal project. This is an established programme that is looking for new candidates as it moves into its next phase. Key Responsibilities: In this role, you will provide nursing delivery services for a Phlebotomy & Healthcare Research Project. You will provide clinical leadership to Healthcare Support Workers, ensuring the highest standards of quality care are consistently met. Your role focuses on the day-to-day delivery of excellent care, maintaining clinical governance, and meeting compliance targets to ensure services are safe and seamless. In this supernumerary role, you will offer additional support during HSW breaks, manage staff attendance and scheduling, and serve as the first point of escalation for operational queries. Reporting directly to the Chief Nurse, you will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of healthcare services. Qualifications and Experience: An experienced nurse or registered candidate who has led nurses in a similar environment. Proof of phlebotomy experience as you will be overseeing these services.
