Senior Quality Engineer / Advisor £55-60 per hour (outside IR35) site-based average 45-50hr working week overtime long-term 12-month contract (rolling) immediate start some initial travel to Europe in the first month Senior Quality Engineer / Advisor responsibilities include: Support all aspects of Quality across the breadth of the project. Identification and regular engagement with key stakeholders to promote quality management and gather feedback on performance. Support the effective planning of quality across the full scope of services under the project, including the allocation of quality inspection resources. Ensure consistent and effective implementation of quality systems across the contractor organization (e.g., NCR, improvements, lessons learned, etc). Support the planning and execution of risk-based assurance plans including the escalation of significant findings to program/project leaders. Monitor and analysis of delivery performance data, regularly reporting themes and trends to quality managers/leads, and undertaking intervention as required. Support effective supply chain management to ensure the right first-time delivery of products and services. Participate in mark up of inspection test plans. Coordination of inspection activities. Coordinate IRN process. Raise inspection assignments as per identified inspection points marked in ITP. Liaise with approved inspection agencies for suitable qualified, experienced inspector. Liaise with Discipline Engineers regarding inspection / expediting activities. Ensure compliance with all Project HSES standards & documentation. Fully committed to Project ethical values and to achieve Project expectations and goals, which shall include a proactive approach with other project department to achieve these goals. Senior Quality Engineer / Advisor profile: An HND / Degree in Fabrication Engineering / Quality or other relevant discipline Excellent knowledge / certificates in ISO 9001, 14001 Member of Chartered Quality Institute (MCQI CQP) 10years experience in quality engineering, at least 5yrs in a QA/QC inspections capacity Experience in fabrication Engineering / dealing with fabricated goods. Ability to work successfully in a team, providing guidance, support and training as and when necessary.
