Our ambitious but achievable growth plans are centred around reaching and converting audiences around the globe through our website, as well as our own stores and our wholesale partners. Paid activity in social channels plays a central role in this, and we are now looking for an experienced and entrepreneurial Paid Media Manager to join our team. The role will initially report directly to our Chief Marketing Officer and will work closely with the ecommerce, social and marketing teams as well as our web analyst.
About the role:
The Paid Media Manager will play a crucial role in accelerating our acquisition activity and expanding the reach of our brand across our 5 key global markets – UK, US, Canada, Japan and the Middle East.
Working closely with our Chief Marketing Officer, you will lead the execution, optimisation and measurement of comprehensive acquisition strategies, in collaboration with our paid media agency team, across our paid channels - Meta, TikTok, Pinterest and Google.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a high growth, high AOV, direct to consumer e-commerce business, and will be well-versed in juggling growth and efficiency on a day-to-day basis.
Please note: This is a full-time, permanent position based either in Edinburgh or London. We are currently operating a hybrid working approach with a minimum of 3 fixed days required each week working from our office in either central Edinburgh or London.
Your role will involve:
* Working with our Chief Marketing Officer to monitor performance and identify optimisation opportunities across our Meta, Pinterest, TikTok, and Google campaigns, with the objective of accelerating profitable growth
* Liaising with our agency team on a daily basis to ensure campaign changes and optimisations are implemented in a timely and accurate way
* All aspects of asset coordination – gathering creative assets, implementing the briefing process, ad copy generation, coordinating brand sign off, implementing agency approvals, and ensuring that ad naming conventions and UTM parameter specifications are strictly adhered to
* Managing our agency’s weekly actions, and our 30/60/90 deliverables to ensure tasks are completed on schedule
* Documenting A/B tests and experiments, tracking optimisations and capturing learnings
* Undertaking analysis to contribute to attribution methodologies
* Managing ad platform pixel implementation and regular checking, conversion API integrations, and managing our product feed to optimise dynamic ad formats
* Build and refresh first party data lists for effective targeting and manage the integration between our customer data platform and the ad platforms
* Set up and manage ad platform commerce surfaces eg Instagram shop
* Managing and building reports and contributing to forecasting processes
* Contribute to targeting and audience discussions and creative ideation sessions
* This role will also manage our small, editorial-only, affiliate programme
About you:
This role would suit an ambitious, resourceful and entrepreneurial paid media manager with experience within the luxury or premium fashion space:
* Proven track record in shaping and executing DTC growth strategies across multiple international markets, ideally with high consideration product and premium audiences
* Extensive experience in performance marketing in upper funnel channels (Meta, TikTok and Pinterest) focusing on customer acquisition at scale
* A test and learn approach to growth, and experience of implementing testing frameworks to validate strategies
* Experience of briefing, testing and iterating creatives for paid digital, with an understanding of creative best practice across Meta, Tiktok and Pinterest, and the differences between them
* Strong analytical skills for data interpretation and problem solving
* Comfortable working at pace and able to maintain momentum on multiple tasks concurrently
* Effective communication and coordination with internal and external teams
* An understanding of how holistic attribution can unlock upper funnel channels
* Forensic attention to detail
* Experience with / an understanding of attribution tools such as Fospha, Polar, Triple Whale would be advantageous
