Protocol Education is actively seeking a dedicated Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant in Leeds. This position offers a remarkable opportunity to work closely with students who require additional support in their learning, helping them navigate challenges and realise their full potential in an inclusive educational environment.
Your efforts will focus on fostering engagement and motivation in the classroom, ensuring that each student feels valued and encouraged. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will provide tailored support to students both during classroom activities and in one-on-one settings.
Key responsibilities:
Participate in planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate learning activities
Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
Support the emotional, social, and cognitive development of students
Track and monitor student progress, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records
Collaborate with teachers, SEN coordinators (SENCOs), and parents to implement and Review Individual Education Plans (IIEPs)
What we are looking for:
Previous experience working with children with SEN is desirable but not essential
