Bell Cornwall Recruitment are delighted to be working with a UK leading manufacturing and distribution company. They are looking for a Credit Controller to join their finance team in their Redditch office.
The duties and responsibilities for the Credit Controller role include (but are not limited to):
* Making and receiving telephone calls from businesses and individuals to recover outstanding debts.
* Handling difficult conversations in a sensitive and professional manner with customers over the telephone.
* Entering accurate records of conversations and payment agreements into a customer database.
* Handling a caseload of 500 customers.
* Accurately entering customer payment details into our systems – ensuring these are entered correctly the first time around.
The successful candidate will have:
* Previous experience working in a credit control type role (desirable).
* Clear and confident communication skills – both written/data entry and over the telephone.
* Comfort working to targets – earning more money based on achievements.
* Strong IT skills – ability to pick up different technologies and systems quickly.
* Problem-solving abilities – able to ask the right questions to get the information needed.
