An independent Special Needs school in Bexley is seeking a patient and experienced ICT Teacher to join their school.
The Role
This is a full-time teaching position teaching across both KS3 and KS4. Pupils have moderate learning needs and lessons will be planned within the department to meet the needs of the students.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Preparing and delivering ICT lessons across both KS3 and KS4 covering basic digital skills and the Entry Level NCFE in Digital Functional Skills course.
* Working with the existing staff team to prepare and lead engaging lessons.
* Monitoring and assessment of student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
* Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
Person Specification
The school is looking for an SEN Tutor who:
* Has experience working with students with Special Educational Needs.
* Is skilled in adapting teaching approaches to meet different learning needs.
* Demonstrates patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills.
* Has good written and verbal English.
The School
This Independent Special Needs School, located in Welling, Bexley, provides a nurturing and supportive environment for up to 40 young people aged 7 to 19. The school caters to students with special educational needs who have struggled in mainstream education and hold Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs).
