An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Personal Assistant/Secretary to the Executive Director of Development and Infrastructure Services. The role will be to assist the Directorate by providing first class secretarial and administrative support, including management of correspondence, diary management, and general administrative support.
This is a permanent full-time post working 35 hours per week based in Lochgilphead.
You will contribute to the work of the Department as required and act in accordance with the strategies laid down by the Departmental Management Team.
The successful candidate will establish and maintain good working relationships with the Council's Heads of Service, Elected Members, Council officials, and staff at all levels, as well as with other organisations and local communities.
Part of the role will be to exercise your initiative in the routing of enquiries directed to the Executive Director, ensuring the best quality response from the Department.
The role will also include planning and arranging meetings and events, with the Personal Assistant/Secretary organising agendas and acting as the minute taker in various meetings across the Council area.
