An opportunity has arisen for a hard working individual who has the appropriate skill set to join our small dedicated workshop team who are responsible for the machining and assembly of wooden components required for our range of luxury garden buildings.
Your standard hours of work will be 6am to 3pm. With an opportunity to work some overtime.
The role will be predominantly workshop based with occasional off-site work where required (transport is provided).
This would include working on building installations and acting as a helping hand where necessary, or as part of the setup team installing several of our buildings to show sites across the country, such as Chelsea Flower Show in London. This is a dynamic and active role, ideally suited to someone who enjoys a busy working environment, and the opportunity to grow within the company, working well both individually, and as a team.
Responsibilities and Duties
* Machining & building components ready for assembly
* Assembly of timber floors
* Aiding with the production of various other timber framed structures
* Using machinery such as; crosscut, table saws, band saws, planers, sanders etc
* Assisting with other elements of the build process where required
* Be prepared for a busy and action-packed working day
Qualifications and Skills
* Experienced in the use of woodworking machinery and power tools
* Be fit and able to lift reasonably heavy loads
* Have the ability to work under your own initiative to a high standard as well as working within a team
* Good time keeping along with a positive and professional attitude towards work
* A basic level of experience within the carpentry industry is required, however training can be given to potential applicants if they possess the correct work ethic, finish components to a high standard and encompass a large amount of personal drive.

Pay: £25,000.00-£33,000.00 per year
