Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Lunchtime Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals who have a passion for cooking and cleaning and possess strong leadership qualities. The Assistant will support the daily operations within our nursery, ensuring a clean, environment for all children. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing meals and snacks and communicating effectively with staff.
Duties
* Assist in the preparing and reheating of meals.
* Manage daily routines and ensure that all areas of the kitchen and general nursery are clean.
* Communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure all dietary requirements are being met.
* Support the lead educator in maintaining a clean and organised environment conducive to learning.
* Document temperatures and times of meals.
* Collaborate with team members to create a smooth running meal time.
Qualifications
* Experience working in kitchen environments
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
* A proactive approach with the drive to manage various tasks efficiently.
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being capable of taking initiative when required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £20,820.00 per year
