The post holder will be anexperienced and skilled Avionics Technician undertaking a range ofdetailed maintenance activities on aircraft. Capable of followingapproved data in accordance with the organisation s MaintenanceOrganisation Exposition (MOE).
Demonstrates the ability toanalyse and diagnose faults to aircraft and equipment followdiagnostic procedures and work effectively within a team. Provideguidance to less experienced team members within a diverse anddynamic operationalenvironment.

KeyAccountabilities:
* Performanceindicators Ensure the effective provision of Part 145 activities bymeeting delivery targets and reporting any impact on ContinuingAirworthiness. Understand how individual actions contribute tooverall delivery performance.
* Completionof activities Ensure all Part 145 activities are appropriatelydocumented and airworthiness records are maintained on relevantsystems (IT / paper based). Compile required reporting identify anyissues and escalate asappropriate.
* Procedure/standardsComply with the Part 145 Exposition its associated procedures andstandards and any other Company procedures and standards asapplicable. Identify and propose changes asrequired.
* SafetyManagement System Ensure Human Factors and Error Managementphilosophies are applied to all Part 145 activities. Understand therisks associated with Part 145 and the means by which they aremitigated andmanaged.
* ManagementSystem Assurance Ensure Part 145 activities are compliant with theAM&S Governance and Assurance framework includingsupporting Process Confirmations and independent assurance audits.Support the response to audit findings in a timely and appropriatemanner and provide information to support the relevant reviews.Support the implementation of identified improvements to overcomeany noncompliance and monitoreffectiveness.
* Statutory/ Regulatory & Legislative requirements Able to demonstratean appropriate level of understanding and application of therelevant Continuing Airworthiness Regulatory framework. Support theimplementation of any Regulatorydriven changes into the Part 145activities. Ensure compliance with all other requirements e.g. ITAREaPW ISOetc.
* ContractualRequirements Ensure compliance with applicable contractualrequirements e.g. through support to contract reviews via theincorporation of required changes into Part 145processes.

* Academicqualification for this role is a minimum of City & Guilds2675 or 2661 in Aeronautical Engineering and Maintenance orequivalent.
* Typically2 years experience including type classed as fully competent withall required Authorisations inplace.
* Requiresgeneral product knowledge/competency within own technical/subjectarea and a basic knowledge of those elements in otherareas.

Qualifications Completion of an Engineering Apprenticeship, ideallyin Aeronautical Engineering or Military equivalent apprenticeshipAcademic qualification for this role is a minimum of City &Guilds 2675 or 2661 in Aeronautical Engineering and Maintenance orequivalent. Experienced and competent leader at this level.Requires a minimum of 2 years working at Technician level prior toundertaking a Supervisor role. Demonstrating breadth of experience,currency & recency via a Log Book (electronic or paper) ofskills, knowledge and authorities for working on Aircraft type orin bays.
