* Air Dominance (Phantom Works, F-15, F/A-18, MQ-25A, T-7A)
* Space Intelligence & Weapons Systems (Harpoon, JDAM, SDB, SLAM-ER)
Position Responsibilities:
* Complete Durability and Damage Tolerance Analysis for structural locations using common fatigue tools and software.
* Provide technical solutions for aircraft production lines with high priority nonconformance stress and fatigue analysis.
* Perform single flight probability of failure risk analysis and generate risk reports for customers.
* Utilize 3D modeling and data visualization software to update airframe 3D models and complete data processing on fleet maintenance findings.
* Perform full scale fatigue test finding match analysis using common fatigue tools and software.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.
* An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
* Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
* 2+ years of work-related experience performing structural fatigue and fracture analysis
* Experience in fatigue and damage tolerance analysis
* Ability to develop technical reports and present results
* 2+ years of work-related experience with a Bachelor’s degree OR a Master’s degree
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
* 5+ years of work-related experience with a Bachelor’s degree OR 3+ years of work-related experience with a Master’s degree OR a PhD
* Knowledge and experience with fixed wing military aircraft platforms
* Knowledge of Aircraft Structural Integrity Program and its requirements
* Experience with structural analysis software such as PATRAN/NASTRAN, StressCheck and Lifeworks
* Ability to understand and write engineering reports based on analysis results, test findings and maintenance reports
* Experience with Full-Scale Fatigue Testing and/or other structural and material testing plans
* Strong oral and written communications skills
