The role As the Lead Product Owner, you will take on a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of our product offerings. You will be responsible for identifying key business needs, prioritising initiatives, and steering them through the entire delivery process-ensuring a cohesive and seamless user experience across all products. Collaborating closely with senior stakeholders, you will define a clear product vision and roadmap, aligning it with both corporate objectives and customer needs. Your leadership will extend to managing a team of Product Owners, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement to keep our products at the forefront of the market. In this role, you will work hand-in-hand with IT teams to ensure that product roadmaps align with technical capabilities and strategies. You'll develop detailed product initiatives, features, and epics in collaboration with senior leadership, ensuring that they are well-supported and backed at every level. Additionally, you will oversee governance processes, providing business oversight on active projects and ensuring they align with the strategic goals of the organisation. As an advocate for change, you will be a visible champion of technology, persuading key stakeholders to adopt business-driven, tech-enabled strategies that propel our organisation forward. What we are looking for Proven experience and/or prior delivery experience as an Agile product owner or product manager in a similar organisation. Applied experience leading product evolution across two or more enterprise-wide delivery projects. With a good understanding of the end-to-end Software Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC). Strong influencing and negotiating skills, able to affect change across senior stakeholders. Ability to communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences. Able to plan complex interventions and project work over a significant period of time into the future and possess the ability to manage shifting priorities effectively. A customer-centric mindset, with a proven track record of improving product value and customer satisfaction.
