Responsibilities
The role of Senior Project Leader is to provide network engineering exceptional expertise resources in the disciplines of core routing, core switching, network security and network diagnostics.

Skills and Experience
* A graduate in any discipline preferably (Computer Science, Engineering) with 7 -10 years of experience in a network environment
* Professional certification with Industry-related experience as a Technical Lead.
* In-depth working knowledge of networking systems, network security and tools
* Excellent project management skills including prioritization, scheduling, and documentation.
* Ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
* Employs strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to quickly learn, understand and apply new technologies.
* Positive, can-do attitude with the ability to succeed in a fast-paced work environment.
* Must be self-directed and detail oriented and able to coordinate and work for a client site with a dynamic team and multiple stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Strategy & Implementation
* Planning and implementing changes to wide area networks (WANs), virtual private networks (VPNs), and network security (firewalls)
* Analysing and resolving network hardware and software problems in a timely and accurate fashion
Creating/updating/maintaining technical documentation
Work with various infrastructure teams to implement/execute change requests.
Participate in customer planning, technical exchange, and coordination meetings.
Listens to and understands customer requests and provides the most effective resolution, including escalation if necessary.
Performance
* Act as escalation point of contact for the team members.
* Analyse, diagnose and troubleshoot issues in network and related problems regarding the escalated change requests.
Analyse and solve complex issues involving multiple support teams and make appropriate recommendations to avoid future failure.
Handle escalated issues with IP Telephony infrastructure related hardware and software.
Implementation plans reviewed and presented to the Engineering Board for approvals.
Liaise and cooperate with ISP to troubleshoot and resolve any escalated issues.
Trend analysis and improvement actions taken to reduce the ticket volume.
Identify automation opportunities and work along with the Improvement project teams on implementation.
Establish and maintain key project criteria metrics.
Periodic review and updation of technical and process documentation.
Identify critical data necessary to establish regulatory compliance initiatives.
Plans and leads status review meetings, which may include internal team members, stakeholders, and customers.
Responsible for training, managing, and motivating the project team, as well as resolving team conflicts.
Provides project status updates at predetermined time intervals to stakeholders.
Assists in business development efforts.
Collaboration
* Close cooperation with the operations and supporting technical teams.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including external partners where relevant.
External Stakeholder Engagement
Managing communication with onsite resources and customers as and when required.
Listens to and understands customer requests and provides the most effective resolution, including escalation.
