Electronics Technician – Oxfordshire
We are seeking an Electronics Technician who is passionate about innovation, space technology, and making a real impact in the rapidly evolving space industry. Your main responsibility as an Electronics Technician will be to ensure that the products are built and tested to high standards and you will work across the product portfolio which will include flight hardware and research and development programmes.
As an Electronics Engineer, your role will include:
* Assembly of research and development products and flight hardware
* Support testing of future products and flight hardware
* Development and write-up of Manufacturing Assembly Procedures and Test Procedures
* Carry out detailed inspections of Mechanical Parts using in house metrology equipment
* Work closely with the Product Assurance team to define and write up qualified MAIT processes when required
Key skills required for this Electronics Technician:
* Strong understanding in engineering knowledge with experience in assembly of precision components
* Demonstrable experience using Metrology equipment
* Understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of MAIT
* Demonstrable experience of using assembly procedures
* Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of detailed drawings, surface finishes, tolerances, materials
* Ability to demonstrate a pragmatic approach to problem solving and the ability to find simple solutions to complex problems
