Service: Covering Brook Street & Widmore Road respite services in SE London
Hours: 38 Hours Per week
Salary: £37,500 Plus Car allowance of £4,224 Per Annum.

Ambient Support, a registered UK charity with over 25 years’ experience in providing care and support services for older people, people with mental health needs, and people with learning disabilities.
It's an exciting time at our Learning disabilities services around SE London, as we have an opening for a Locality Manager to join our fantastic team.

Our services around SE London are looking for a Locality Manager, who will make a difference in the lives of the people we support and, in return, have access to opportunities for learning and development in a supportive team environment.
Our Locality Manager skills and experience:
1. Experience of transformation and modernisation projects within services.
2. Experience in Respite and Registered services.
3. Level 5 in Health and Social Care or Management or equivalent.
4. Proven supervisory or management experience in Care & Support settings.
5. Experience of managing high-quality care and support services that have achieved full compliance (Good or Outstanding) with CQC.
6. Experience of Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults.
7. Experience of undertaking disciplinary investigations and hearing disciplinaries.
8. Budget Management experience.
9. Assessment of the care and support needs of people with a learning disability.
Our Locality Manager duties will consist of:
1. Ensure all the services provide a safe, clean, and happy environment for the people we support.
2. Monitor and manage all local safeguarding issues as part of the Operations Management team and promote best practice in the protection of vulnerable adults.
3. Ensure that all contractual obligations are met.
4. Manage the financial performance of the services you are responsible for, ensuring that each individual service delivers within its agreed budget.
5. Manage the performance of staff, including taking appropriate disciplinary action where necessary.
6. Directly manage the performance of all Ambient Support services in London, coaching, mentoring, motivating, and supporting the staff to deliver the support commissioned.
