Job Purpose
Reporting to the Tech & Digital Finance Business Partner, this role will support in the delivery of month end and provision of analytical support to our Technology and Digital teams. This role will be involved across both our Retail and Autocentre divisions and play an integral part in providing key insights and commercial analysis to influence decisions and drive performance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Support the Business Partner in providing the right balance of added value insights, reporting and support to the Technology and Digital teams.
2. Support on month end for both Retail and Autocentres related marketing and customer spend, providing variance analysis against each cost line and partnering with stakeholders to ensure that cost lines are accurate and complete.
3. Provide analysis specifically in relation to the quantification of any risk and opportunities across all cost lines within technology and digital.
4. Support on the budgeting and reforecasting processes during the annual business cycle for all relevant cost lines, including Technology and Digital owned project spend when necessary.
5. Provide accurate, timely and insightful information to the relevant departments including relevant KPI analysis.
6. Work collaboratively across the wider Customer & Transformation Team providing ad hoc support as required to support overall team objective delivery.
7. Ad hoc analysis and support for both the Business Partner and the Head of Finance - Customer & Transformation as required.
Key Skills/Experience
1. Studying towards or intention to study towards either CIMA or ACCA.
2. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment to tight deadlines.
3. Strong computer skills essential, especially Microsoft Excel.
4. Comfortable being able to handle large quantities of data and analyse data to inform commercial decision making.
5. Strong communication and presentation skills.
6. Absolute commitment to quality with a high attention to detail.
7. Dynamic and results-driven individual with a high level of energy.
8. Curious attitude and confident self-starter, with desire to continuously develop self and drive business forward.
9. Embraces a team-focused approach to drive collaboration, cross-functional learning and deliver success as a team.
10. Ability to build and develop good working relationships with key stakeholders.
11. Willingness and enthusiasm to progress and succeed within the business.
