Job: Housing Manager
Location: Kettering, Northamptonshire
Contract: Temporary (approx. 3 months)
Hours: Full-time
Pay Rate: £16.37 per hour
About the Role
We are seeking a proactive Housing Manager to support customers and ensure effective housing management services. You will play a key role in making informed decisions, visiting customers as needed, and handling a range of housing-related tasks.
Key Responsibilities
1. Deliver excellent customer service in line with our Customer Promise and service standards.
2. Achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) as outlined in operational and service improvement plans.
3. Maximise income through effective arrears management, lettings performance, and void turnaround, working closely with the Customer Service Centre (CSC) and Property teams.
4. Coordinate with colleagues to gain access to properties for essential inspections, ensuring health and safety requirements are met.
5. Support the development and delivery of new homes.
About You
To thrive in this role, you should have:
1. Experience in a customer-focused environment, demonstrating strong relationship-building, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
2. Knowledge of service charge setting and monitoring, with the ability to present information clearly to customers both in person and in writing.
3. A full UK driving licence and the ability to travel for work, including lone working when necessary.
