JOB MISSION:
We are looking for an experienced Associate Trade Marketing Manager who will be responsible for marketing planning and execution of trade marketing activities across our UK Key Accounts Brand Partners. The Associate Trade Marketing Manager will manage the overall account marketing strategy, liaising with the marketing teams to align and own the product calendars and marketing activations, ensuring we utilize all opportunities to drive account growth from a trade marketing perspective.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for sport and sportswear retail, with experience across the full journey from online to in-store, with specialist knowledge in Ecommerce.
This role is office-based 3 days per week with the ability to work weekends and unsociable hours when required. We offer hybrid working and flexibility in working hours to accommodate a healthy work-life balance.
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:
* Account management of key brand partners in alignment with the UK trade marketing strategy, focusing on strategic key accounts.
* Support sell-in activity through the creation and delivery of account-specific pre-line and sell-in presentations, promoting best-in-class buying experiences for our customers.
* Create and present consumer-first, account-specific pre-line marketing presentations that influence future buys.
* Highlight gaps, challenges, and opportunities from Global/EMEA plans for your accounts.
* Create and implement account marketing plans, leading tactical activity and marketing channels to deliver brand awareness and sell-through.
* Understand and consider the customer journey, building out cohesive omnichannel plans that align with brand marketing activations and identify where the brand partner plays a vital role.
* 360 campaign management – planning, creative, production & activation.
* Management of brand partner budget and launch tools, ensuring best-in-class assets and partner servicing while consistently looking for efficiencies in spend and resource.
* Analysis and reporting of campaign successes and key learnings, including return on investment, rate of sale & sell-through.
* Ability to liaise and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Promote the correct use of New Balance brand guidelines.
* Provide regular communication on upcoming and live activity along with performance marketplace updates (culture, competitors, innovation, etc.).
* Work with wholesale creative teams, third-party agencies, and/or internal creative team to develop innovative experiential, in-store & online marketing assets.
* Explore external digital, paid media, social, and PR initiatives where required.
* Utilize and integrate wider business opportunities, such as athletes & talent, to activate global game plan moments with accounts.
* Work with wholesale creative teams, agencies, and/or internal creative team to develop innovative ‘brand firsts’ experiential, in-store & online marketing assets.
REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:
* Educated to degree level or equivalent qualifications.
* Proficient using Microsoft Packages and Adobe.
* Experience managing and delivering marketing campaigns.
* Strong knowledge and understanding of the digital consumer journey as well as data analysis.
* Experience in the sports, culture, and performance industry.
* Knowledge and understanding within the sports, culture, and performance industry.
* Experience of juggling multiple projects effectively.
* Process-driven with a clear understanding of working across multiple partners, wholesalers, seasons, products, agencies, and departments.
* Great understanding of consumer behavior and the ability to deliver campaigns from awareness through to conversion.
* Teammate with excellent communication skills.
