The role focuses on small class sizes (15-20 students) across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, supporting children with mild to moderate SEN and SEND needs, with a specific focus on Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
Application Requirements: To apply for this role, you should:
• Have experience working with children with SEN/SEND, particularly ASD.
• Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (preferred but not essential).
• Demonstrate patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children’s learning.
• Be available to start in January 2025.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support students with ASD and other SEN needs in KS1 and KS2.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment tailored to each child’s unique needs.
• Help deliver and adapt lesson plans to ensure accessibility for all.
• Build strong relationships with students, staff, and families to support the holistic development of each child.
• Contribute to tracking and reporting progress to ensure every child’s success.
