Job Overview
This is a wonderful opportunity for a radiographer with significant and varied experience to work in a cutting-edge clinical environment performing a range of MRI scanning. The candidate should have extensive CT experience and MRI experience is desirable.
We are looking to recruit a highly motivated, enthusiastic and skilled radiographer to join the MRI team where you will undertake a wide variety of MRI scans including Neuro, MSK, Upper/Lower GI, Gynaecology, Prostate, Head/Neck MRI, Breast and Whole-Body MRI.
You will need to be team orientated with demonstrable teaching abilities as you will be working with undergraduates, trainee radiologists and trainee MRI radiographers.
The clinical range of patient presentations is wide and we would expect the successful applicant to communicate effectively, with a patient-centered approach.
Participation in the MRI extended week rota is essential as is a desire to develop your MRI skills and abilities.

Main Duties of the Job
You will be providing a high-quality diagnostic MRI service whilst maintaining a safe working MRI environment.
You will assist in providing an efficient MRI service which will include the MRI scanning alongside its associated administration duties.
You should have a flexible and pragmatic approach to your work, exceptional organisational skills that will enable you to manage a varied workload ensuring safe and clinical practices.

Knowledge & Qualifications
Essential Criteria
* BSc or Diploma in Radiography
* State Registration
* Evidence of relevant courses for Continuing Professional Development
* Competency of a SOR or UCLH recognised certificate for the administration of IV injections
* Excellent written communication skills
Experience
Essential Criteria
* Evidence of a range of post qualification clinical experience
* Evidence of 2 years' experience in cross-sectional imaging
* Evidence of experience in the supervision, training and assessment of students & trainees to required standard
* Evidence of participation in clinical audit and quality assurance
Desirable Criteria
* Evidence of experience in MRI
* Evidence of previous NHS experience
Skills and Abilities

* Evidence of ability to critically analyse radiographs
