Experience &Knowledge
Experience of working in a technician role preferably within an education environment
Knowledge of the requirements of practical science work in laboratories
Knowledge of constructing and/or repairing simple scientific apparatus
Ability to carry out risk assessments
Ability to prepare equipment and materials for lessons
Skills
Good written and oral communication skills
Ability to work alone and as part of a team
Ability to work effectively with students and colleagues
Ability to organise own workload and manage competing priorities
Good ICT skills
